This listing is for straight run, one day old American Bresse chicks. Minimum order of 6 required. 
 
American Bresse are a wonderful dual purpose breed. They are prized for their ability to have marbled meat like beef and they are excellent egg layers, laying around 4-5 large, cream to tan colored eggs per week. We breed for large bodied birds, solid white feathering, white on ear lobes, amber eyes, blue legs and red single straight comb.  
Our breeding rooster is from Greenfire Farms 2023 Import line AND our hens are from their unrelated 2017 White Bresse line. Greenfire Farms is the only importer of the Bresse breed that come directly from France. We strive to bring our customers the highest quality Bresse as well. 
(The Bresse in our in our breeding stock do not have any of the flaws listed below, we cull any birds that develop flaws. We do encounter occasional leakage, crooked toe, white leg or angel wing. If one of your birds happens to have any of these flaws you can cull or keep them. This will not affect meat quality or the birds health, but if you're breeding for perfect genetics then you may want to cull.)
 
 *We do not sex our chickens unless they are an auto-sexing breed, American Bresse are not an auto-sexing breed, so they are sold straight run. This means that you have a possibility of getting all females, all males or a mixture of both. Our American Bresse chicks are $15 each  with a minimum order quantity of 6 chicks for every order and a maximum of 20 that we can ship in one box. If you would like more than 20 chicks then please add another order to your cart or message us for a custom listing. You will pay one shipping fee for every order that contains 6-20 chicks. Feel free to mix and match, you are welcomed to add our other available breeds to your order!
Shipping:
All chicks are shipped USPS. Priority Mail(2-5 days) is $35 for up to 20 chicks or $70 for USPS Express(1-3 days) for up to 20 chicks. If you live more than 500 miles from zip code 42266 you should purchase the  “Express Shipping” option for your chicks. You don’t have to, but with a longer distance trip your chicks will have better chances of survival and arrive faster with Express shipping. Express shipping is also a great option for any location during extreme weather.*
Chicks will be shipped to your local post office. Once the chicks arrive the post office will call you and will need to pick them up the same day. Once you get them home, put them under a heat lamp and provide chick starter and water. If there are any chicks dead upon delivery you must message us by the end of the delivery date with photos. We do our best to send healthy, happy chicks and get them to you as quickly as possible. Free local pickup is also available. 
 
Marek’s disease vaccine is also available for an additional fee of $40. Please add the Marek’s Disease vaccine to your cart when you checkout, there is a separate listing for it under the Day Old Chicks section.
 
 
You may request to cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of your purchase. All orders will be shipped within 30 days of the hatch month you choose. If you select “May” then we have through June to ship your order out. We try our best to get all orders out in a timely manner but sometimes circumstances or weather can put us behind.
