This listing is for one dozen American Bresse hatching eggs. American Bresse hatching eggs are $90/dozen.

American Bresse are a wonderful dual purpose breed. They are prized for their ability to have marbled meat like beef and they are excellent egg layers, laying around 4-5 large, cream to tan colored eggs per week. We breed for large bodied birds, solid white feathering, white on ear lobes, amber eyes, blue legs and red single straight comb.  
Our breeding rooster is from Greenfire Farms 2023 Import line and our hens are from their unrelated 2017 White Bresse line. Greenfire Farms is the only importer of the Bresse breed that come directly from France. We strive to bring our customers the highest quality Bresse as well. 
(The Bresse in our in our breeding stock do not have any of the flaws listed below, we cull any birds that develop flaws. We do encounter occasional leakage, crooked toe, white leg or angel wing. If one of your birds happens to have any of these flaws you can cull or keep them. This will not affect meat quality or the birds health, but if you're breeding for perfect genetics then you may want to cull.)
 
*You will have a possibility of getting all females, all males or a mixture of both. Also, we test fertility for our flocks on a regular basis. We have an 85%-95% hatch rate most of the time here. We also take care in packaging and use foam shippers and label properly. Once hatching eggs are shipped sometimes they are not handled properly by the carrier services and eggs are damaged during transit. We have no control over weather conditions or handling once the eggs leave our hands, so we can not be responsible for them once they leave our hands. You may receive damaged eggs, have a 0% hatch rate, 50% hatch rate or 100% hatch rate. This is just the risk we all take when ordering hatching eggs. With that being said, please check temps in your area before ordering and pay for Express shipping if needed, as we do not replace hatching eggs under any circumstances. Shipping:
Hatching eggs will be shipped to your local post office. Once they arrive the post office should call you for pickup, but sometimes they don't, so please watch your tracking and go pick up when you see them in your town. You will need to pick them up the same day, within 4 hours of their arrival. You are responsible for keeping up with tracking. We will not be watching tracking or be held responsible for eggs not picked up or arriving on time. Once the package leaves our hands, it is no longer our responsibility. Once you get them home, let the eggs rest for 8-12 hours before incubating them. If there are any damages upon pickup you must message us by the end of the pickup date with photos. Please go read our shop policies for further details. You will be asked to agree to our terms and conditions upon checkout*
 
You may request to cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of your purchase. All orders will be shipped within 30 days of the month you choose. If you select “May” then we have through June to ship your order out. We try our best to get all orders out in a timely manner but sometimes circumstances or weather can put us behind.
