This listing is for straight run, one day old Ayam Cemani chicks. There is a minimum requirement of 6 chicks per order but you can mix and match any breeds you like!

Ayam Cemani are known for their solid black feathering, skin, bones and even organs! Their beautiful plumage has a green iridescent tint when they are out in the sun. We strive to keep only the best of the best. Our Ayam Cemani Rooster came from BBC Farms and has almost a solid black tongue, no white leakage, no mulberry and very dark fibro. Our hens came from Greenfire Farms and all have oyster gray tongues, no white leakage, no mulberry and also very dark fibro. You may still have a small chance of getting some white leakage, mulberry or light tongue, but we cull for those traits and the birds in our breeding program do not have any of those traits. Ayam Cemani's are a smaller, gamey bodied bird and are some of the most friendly chickens we own.They around 150 medium eggs per year.
 
*We do not sex our chickens unless they are an auto-sexing breed, Ayam Cemani's are not an auto-sexing breed, so they are sold straight run. This means that you have a possibility of getting all females, all males or a mixture of both. 
 
Shipping:
Chicks will be shipped to your local post office, they will not be delivered to your home. Once the chicks arrive, the post office should call you, but sometimes they don't. So it is your responsibility to watch the tracking and pick the chicks up when you see them in your town. You will need to pick them up the same day, within 4 hours of them arriving at your post office. Once you get them home, put them under a heat lamp and provide chick starter and water. If there are any chicks dead upon delivery you must message us by the end of the delivery date with photos of damaged packaging and/or dead chicks. We do our best to send healthy, happy chicks and get them to you as quickly as possible. Free local pickup is also available. Marek’s disease vaccine
is also available for an additional fee of $40. Please add the Marek’s Disease vaccine to your cart when you checkout, there is a separate listing for it under the Day Old Chicks section.
 
You may request to cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of your purchase. All orders will be shipped within 30 days of the hatch month you choose. If you select “May” then we have through June to ship your order out. We try our best to get all orders out in a timely manner but sometimes circumstances or weather can put us behind.
