This listing is for one dozen French Black Copper Maran hatching eggs.
 
French Black Copper Marans are a beautiful breed known for their black feathering, copper hackle feathers, feathered feet and gorgeous dark brown eggs. Our Black Copper Marans have a very dark egg gene like the pictures attached. They lay several shades darker than our older BCM from Hoovers Hatchery and lay around 200 of these dark chocolate brown eggs per year.
Our unrelated lines come Greenfire Farms AND Feather Lovers Farm. Both hatcheries boast of imported National Champion Black Copper Maran bloodlines! We strive to bring our customers the highest quality chickens and breed them to be as close SOP standards as possible. BCM's are also sad to have the best tasting eggs in the world and can be used as meat birds too.
 
Our hatching eggs are sold by the dozen, the Black Copper Maran hatching eggs are $120/dozen, plus shipping.
 
Shipping:
All hatching eggs will be shipped USPS unless otherwise discussed. Shipping cost is $35 per dozen
for USPS Priority(2-5 days) or $70 per dozen
for USPS Express(1-3 days), free local pickup is also available, please select your preference at checkout. We use high quality foam shippers from Southern Feathers Shippers to protect your eggs as best we can.
Hatching eggs will be shipped to your local post office. Once they arrive the post office will call you and will need to pick them up the same day. Once you get them home, let the eggs rest for 8-12 hours before incubating them. If there are any damages upon delivery you must message us by the end of the delivery date with photos.*
 
 
You may request to cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of your purchase. All orders will be shipped within 30 days of the month you choose. If you select “May” then we have through June to ship your order out. We try our best to get all orders out in a timely manner but sometimes circumstances or weather can put us behind.
